I am thrilled with how the hardcover turned out and hope readers love the changes my publisher made. There is also a sale on the e-book for $0.99 for a limited time!
I am so thankful for all the love this little yellow book of murder has received over the last two years. This edition is our way of saying “thank you” to all its readers. Your support for LOTH means the world to me!

Aside from all the wonderful news, I recently had spinal surgery!
Yikes, I know. I’d experienced some lower back pain for some time, but it finally came to a head at the end of November that landed me in the ER. An x-ray, MRI, and slew of doctors’ visits later, I was told I needed emergency surgery on my spine because a disc had ruptured at L4 and was threatening to cut off the lower part of my spinal cord for good.
Surgery went well, thankfully! I will need to go to physical therapy for sometime to strengthen my core and work on a foot drop I developed. I even have a fancy walker for balance, as I’ve fallen due to tripping over my own foot a few times now.
My family and friends have been a great deal of support since! One of my cousins even flew out from Florida to help. We made yummy latkes and celebrated Hanukkah together. I’m very close to my cousin, and relish any chance I get to visit with them (even if it’s not under the greatest of circumstances!)
I can’t believe Christmas and New Years are right around the corner. Where did this year go?
Have a great week. Stay safe, stay spooky.
